Art Market

Skipwith Jack Ltd is highly experienced at servicing the needs of art dealers and galleries; producing many successful customised gallery and dealer management applications, and are currently launching an adaptable art management software package for both Mac and PC. We also provide network design, online backup, network operating systems setup and program installation. Although we don’t deal with specific hardware problems for individual pc's, we can of course advise on problems relating to hardware or software. Furthermore, for software problems we provide onsite and offsite technical support via telephone and email. Please refer to business networks, web services or computer security links at the top of the screen for more detailed information on these specific service areas.

Onsite Technical support

We provide technical support to your computer network onsite in the London area. Offsite technical support is available once you have set up an account with us. This includes support via telephone or email from general software problems to computer art management specific questions.

Art Email Marketing Tool

Many Art dealers are turning to the web to keep in contact with their clients as it provides the fastest and most cost effective communication medium for selling art. However to make your picture emails look professional and load quickly requires specific coding. The kind of companies that rely on picture emailing are, for example, ebay, amazon, ft.com and professional organisations who specifically budget for the greater impact that this graphical format brings. To make it easier for art dealers or sellers to provide these kind of professional marketing emails on a large scale we are developing a specific online application for art marketing and relations. This will be available very soon.

Art Management Software

Software that stores, organises and manages all of the information required to run an art gallery. Examples of the information stored would be stock, loans, customers and accounts. Coupled with business reports such as overdue payments, current open loans and customised reports, the software gives you the information you need to run your gallery at a glance or a click.

This significantly reduces the labour and time required to manage the information in your business when compared to paper systems or less professional database systems.

We are currently launching our enterprise network art management software for art dealers. This involves new business techniques in enterprise network software and quality information storage design and interfaces. The net result is a completely professional and labour saving piece of software for the art market; holding detailed information on any stock item from a sculpture, snuff bottle to an oil painting.

Art Management Software will keep track of client contacts and manage them into varying interest groups for marketing (target your stock towards your clients by type and interest matching). It will automatically match interested clients with new stock. The program also tracks accounts receivable and can output the data to Intuit QuickBooks and Sage accounting products. It also allows, for example, artist and media information for each work of art to be stored and regenerated in many formats later.
